Family camping make the best memories for children. Take this opportunity you have while you kids are young, even teenage years to spend quality time with them in the outdoors you will never regret spending this time together enjoying nature and everything it has to offer.
Looking into the activities provided locally may also provide a new layer to your camping adventure. Are you interested in horse back riding? Hiking or kayaking? These things may be available in the local area where you camp.
You may also want to consider saving up a little extra money and renting a cabin one year. Sharing the cost with another family will cut the expenses back. Enjoying camping in a cabin compared to a tent brings a whole other set of enjoyment. Cabins are more comfortable and provide amenities you otherwise would not get. There is a lot to be said about not sharing a public bathroom and shower for several days. Cabins also provide a bit more comfort with small children giving them a place to go while sleeping and napping without worrying about other activities and camping fun disturbing them.
Whatever you choose make it fun for the whole family. Get out of the camping rut and change things up a bit, you never know what you will experience next.
