When buying used tents at garage sales, always make sure and check for rips or tears the last thing you want is to be stuck with a leaking tent.
You will also wan to check and make sure the tent you are purchasing has a tarp. You will not want to get up camping and find out you have no tarp and will be sleeping on the ground with dirt and rocks. Tarps are also good to have on hand for setting up over the tent in case of rain and to block intense heat.
